Bday Party

When we went shopping for a gift for the party I asked Ethan to help me pick out some toys, I found a spiderman toy riding a motorcycle and asked Ethan if he thought that Dave would like it and he said, "I really like it!"  Emphasizing the "I," he said this several times trying to hint that he wanted one too, but I was good and didn't buy him anything.  So we went to Dave's birthday party on Saturday and the kids had soo much fun!  May be a little too much fun because when it was time to leave it was a bit embarrassing...Hope screamed when I took away the baby she had found and had claimed as hers and Ethan was crying loudly "I don't want to go home!!"  I finally bribed  them with cookies and they forgot about everything but the taste of chocolate chips! Ethan actually made several shots!!!  He's gonna be a pitcher...as soon as he realizes he's left-handed!

I used to love these things when I was a kid!  I remember one summer of the many we spent in Hurricane, Utah at Grandma and Grandpa Heaton's, for some reason ( I think Grandpa was watering) the whole yard was full of water and we slipped and slid across the lawn as much as our little hearts desired...those were the days!

Hope's baby!!  hope loves babies, of course cause she's a girl, but somehow she managed to find the one baby in the room full of boy toys and cuddled with it and carried it around until it was time to leave!  (she almost tripped down the stairs on the blanket! Thank you for saving her Jason!)   It was a great day for the kids, they ran around and played so much that a couple minutes into the ride home, they were sound asleep in the backseat and didn't even blink an eye when I got them out.  Great party Barb!! 

 That night I had to go help take pictures at a wedding so Kim Moore came to the rescue and watched the kids.  She had Five kids there, Kelsey, Carter, Zeke, Ethan, and Hope..Crazy!!  Thank you Kim!!:)  

On a side note, I love the Burleson Ward! Everyone is soo nice and there are a lot of people my age there.  So I was disappointed not only by the fact that Hope got sick and started vomitting, but also because we couldn't go to church this Sunday:(
